How It Works

From raw signals to a ranked list in three steps

Leadbay ingests buying signals across your account universe, scores every account against your historical win patterns, and surfaces a draft for every rep before they open their laptop.

Signal ingestion

Each morning, Leadbay scans four signal channels across every account in your universe: job-board postings, news mentions, funding events, and web-traffic indexes. Each event is normalized, deduplicated, and assigned a signal type from a standardized taxonomy.

02

Intent scoring

The scoring model compares today's signal fingerprint for each account against the fingerprints of every account your team closed in the last 12 months. Accounts whose current signals look like yesterday's wins get a higher score. The model updates as you mark new wins and losses in your CRM.

03

Draft generation

For every account that scores above your team's threshold, Leadbay writes a first-touch email. The opening line references the specific signal that triggered the score. Tone and sentence structure mirror that rep's last 90 days of sent email. The draft arrives in the CRM as an activity note before the rep starts their day.

The Pipeline

Four signal layers feeding one model

Every signal type is weighted by how predictive it was in your own closed-won history, not by a vendor's default.

01

Hiring signals

New job postings, role titles, department growth velocity. A spike in sales engineering roles often precedes a procurement cycle.

02

Funding events

Capital raises at various stages, debt financing, and strategic investment. Fresh capital correlates with tool consolidation and category expansion buying cycles.

03

News coverage

Product launches, executive changes, market expansions. Leadership transitions and growth announcements are among the strongest leading indicators.

04

Web activity

Traffic index changes and technology adoption signals. A company adding new categories to their stack while traffic climbs is showing growth intent in multiple dimensions simultaneously.

The Scoring Model

Trained on your wins, not industry benchmarks

Leadbay pulls your closed-won records from the last 12 months and builds a signal fingerprint for each. The baseline model learns which combination of signals, at what intensity and recency, preceded a closed deal in your specific market, segment, and product category.

When you mark a new win or mark an account as a poor fit, the model updates within the next scoring cycle. Over time it becomes sharper at your specific ICP rather than drifting toward a generic industry average.

  • Model updates on each new closed-won or manually rejected signal
  • Separate model instance per team on Team and Scale plans
  • Score explanations show which signals contributed most
